PumpTrack faithfully replicates the audio signal path of one (mono) preamp channel of the vintage TASCAM 424 Portastudio Mk1 (no affiliation!). This pedal will assist you in creating textural, pick-attack determined distortion effects as well as colouring your tone as if you were pushing your signal through a 4-track tape recorder.

Channel Fader control for the second gain stage; knobs just aren't as intuitive (or cool!)
Master volume to tame the levels when cranking the pre-amp gain stages above.
Wide ranging EQ, allowing a 10dB boost or cut around the following frequencies:
Bass 100Hz
Treble 10kHz
DI / XLR output with optional ground lift capability to go straight into a recording desk / DAW interface.
Original NJM4565, and vintage specification equivalent LM833 dual op amps in through hole packages (no SMT, no TL072, no 4558 chips)
