Will a Gigahearts pedal fit on my pedalboard?

We designed our pedals to be very pedalboard friendly, with top mounted connections for audio and power.

Small Cheese, Mashed Voltaire, January, Siliface are constructed in 125b style cases which measure 122 x 66 x 39.5mm (4.8 x 2.6 x 1.6 inch).

Hyper Soup is constructed in a 1590bb case which is slightly wider 117 x 92 x 30mm (4.6 x 3.6 x 1.4 inch).

Mashed Voltaire Deluxe is a larger footprint pedal and is constructed
in a 590XX style case which measures 145 x 121 x 39.5mm (5.7 x 4.8 x
1.6 inch)

Total height clearance including knobs / swtiches etc is 59mm (2.3 inch)

How should I power my pedal?

Gigahearts pedals currently all accept the industry standard 2.1mm barrel style jack, configured tip negative (sleeve postive), and supplying 9v DC power.

We strongly recommend using a transformer isolated power supply unit, rather than a "daisy chain" or otherwise non-isolated power supply.

Current requirements are listed in each user guide, and typically we would recommend a minimum of 100mA. The pedals will only draw what they
require, and as such powering them with a higher output e.g. 500mA is of
no issue.

Care should be taken to ensure the correct connector cable, polarity
and voltage is applied. Whilst each pedal is equipped with polarity
protection circuitry, one should assume that damage can occur when
applying an incorrectly specified power supply.

Note: we currently do not support battery power, and do not intend to add it to future products or revisions.

How and when will my pedal be shipped?

All in stock products are shipped by a tracked/recorded service within 3 working days of your order unless expressly stated otherwise. This may be by domestic postal service or courier, depending on the order size and
value, as well as shipping location. Shipping quotations are provided in
the checkout process.

Standard domestic UK shipping is provided free of charge and typically arrived within 3 working days. Next day UK delivery (Tracked24) is available for a nominal surcharge.

All pedals ship with a tracking number, which is provided at the point of order fulfilment by automated email to the customers registered email address.

Out of stock pedals that are pre-ordered will ship as soon as build, typically 4-8 weeks (but mostly sooner, due to prevailaing market conditions).

Will I be charged a customs fee?

Countries outside of the UK may be subject to customs and duties upon delivery. It is the buyers responsibility to be aware of local customs procedures and expectations, and to pay any such charges should they occur.

The exception here is the Tariffs introduced in the USA at the end of August, which are in addition to local customs. These are covered by Gigahearts, and remitted to the shipping company prior to shipment processing.

Are your prices only in £ GBP ?

By default our website and the pricing information is in £ GBP UK pounds sterling currency. However, you can select your location and at point of checkout your local currency will be displayed.

What payment methods do you accept?

Our checkout is supported by the latest Shopify payment solutions, which includes all major debit and credit cards. Paypal is also a checkout option, and does not attract any additional fees to the end user.

Do you offer custom colours or graphic options?

We spent a lot of time deciding our graphic design identity, and there were many close calls on colours and finishes that were prototyped. If you would like a different colour variant, then we would
welcome the chance to accomodate that - please submit your request here to discuss.

Additionally, from time to time we will be offering limited run colours and special graphic editions, please sign up to our newsletter to keep informed!

How were your demo's recorded?

Our onsite demo videos are fairly low tech, and we feel an honest representation of the pedal sounds and features.

A Windows PC running Adobe Audition was hooked up to a Focusite Scarlett 2i2 Gen3 interface. The Scarlett condenser mic and an SM58 were used to capture live sound from a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp.

For some tracks, some light DAW reverb / echo was used using one of the default plugins, otherwise things were dry/direct.

The guitar was a cheap Fazley Phynica strat copy that has been modded with two humbuckers - so nothing custom shop or crazy expensive was used for any of the process.

Video was captured using an iPhone 13 and edited with OpenShot.

Can I commission you to build me a custom pedal?

Currently we are laser focused on our new line of off-the-shelf effects pedals. However, should you have a compelling request, by all means drop us a line to discuss. We have made dozens and dozens of custom pedals over the years and its something that brings us much joy.
