Mashed Voltaire DELUXE

So...we took the standard Mashed Voltaire and did unspeakable things to it, all in the name of the science of fuzz. Extra gain staging, comprehensive (borderline ridiculous) control over all aspects of the distorted tone, expanded EQ circuitry and a synth-style resonant filter build out a complete and fresh take on the classic "muff" variant topology

• Three band (BP, LP, HP) EQ parameters to finely tune the tonal content
• Synthesizer-style dual-mode resonant filter, with manual cut-off frequency offering an almost infinite amount of options, from subtle, to honky cocked wah and borderline self oscillation
• Four silicon planar epitaxial high gain BC549c transistors, just like the best (and most expensive) boutique variants
• Saturation control, allowing fine tuning of the fuzz character
• Footswitch activated "Starve" circuit, which brings into play a variable voltage parameter capable of adapting the tone in a variety of fun ways 

• • Gated, spitting, broken speaker sounds
  • Overdriven dying amp sounds
  • Upper octave artefacts (especially above the 12th fret on the neck pickup) 
• Modified circuitry that retains clarity at lower fuzz settings, opening up a variety of tones not normally considered usable with standard "muffs". 
• Carefully selected Volume and Fuzz control tapers offering greater control and granularity
• Huge amounts of volume on tap, with an additional panel mount variable pre-gain stage and internal cut/boost master volume trimmer
• Beautiful matte violet / neon yellow UV print powdercoated case, with top mount standard 9v DC and in/outs for easy pedalboard integration
• Soldered, wired and assembled completely by hand in Manchester, UK
