Hyper Soup - Octave Fuzz

Hyper Soup takes one of the most savage fuzz circuits ever created and makes it more powerful, more flexible and far easier to use on stage.

Inspired by the legendary Japanese octave fuzz designs of the late 1960s and the later  FZ-2 variants that helped define countless doom, stoner and alternative records, Hyper Soup delivers everything from chainsaw-like octave fuzz to huge walls of crushing distortion and powerful EQ-driven boosts.

Most importantly, it introduces performance-focused features that transform these iconic sounds into genuinely versatile tools for modern players.

Octave when you want it

Traditional Super-Fuzz circuits are always octave-on. Hyper Soup gives you a choice. Engage the dedicated Octave footswitch for searing lead tones, harmonic chaos and unmistakable octave-up textures, or disengage it for a huge, aggressive fuzz that retains clarity when playing full chords. Use one sound for rhythm and the other for solos—all from a single pedal.

Choose your tone 

A rotary selector provides access to three unique tonal flavours, or alternatively a powerful volume booster. 

• Hump - Mid-forward and focused, perfect for cutting through dense mixes.
• Scoop - Massive low end paired with aggressive treble for classic Super-Fuzz authority.
• Mix - A parallel blend of both voices, creating a huge, complex texture unavailable on the original circuits.
• Boost - Push your amp, overdrives or fuzzes into another orbit. Unlike vintage variants, the master volume remains fully functional in this mode for far greater usability.

Active High and Low EQ controls provide extensive tone-shaping across all four modes. Dial in crushing doom tones, sharpen cutting leads or tame overwhelming low-end with ease.
